What is Cloud-Controlled Network Floating Licensing?

We have explored several approaches to enforcing a maximum number of concurrent users in a running application. We now offer a feature that has become very popular with our customers whose applications require an internet connection. We even coined the term: Cloud-Controlled Network Floating Licensing (CCNFL).

CCNFL provides more control and flexibility over the use of your software application and offers the advantage of securely licensing software running on virtual machines. It is a great approach if you have customers with offices or end-users across the globe, and those customers will appreciate being able to monitor and manage the total usage in real-time.
